How It All Began…

Early Years and Recipes

During my early years of growing up in England, my mother taught me her love of baking. In college I majored in Hotel Management and Catering with a heavy emphasis on time spent learning how to cook professionally. After moving to the US and raising three children, my love of dinner preparation has waned, however, I still love to bake.

Many years ago, my mother shared the Apricot White Chocolate Scone recipe with me, and they became an instant hit whenever I shared them with family and friends. After making them for so many years and receiving such positive feedback, I experimented with other flavors and started selling them locally in my neighborhood.

With such a great response, I took the plunge and created Susie’s Scones at the beginning of 2023.

And the Rest is History

With the support of the local communities, we were able to enjoy a great summer season at Warrenton Farmer’s Market and look forward to another wonderful season this year. Keep checking under Events for up-to-date information on our Farmer’s Market dates.
